Mr. Myers has over thirty years of experience as a transactional and estate planning attorney. His philosophy is that the lawyer should be the indispensable business partner in the organization, development, and realization of the entrepreneurial vision of developing and establishing companies. He provides estate planning and succession planning to complement the needs of individuals and businesses.
Experience:
Before joining the Grunsky Firm in 1986, Mr. Myers practiced with the Santa Barbara firm of Mullen and Henzell.
Education:
Mr. Myers received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California Hasting College of Law in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Admissions:
Mr. Myers is admitted to the California Bar, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Community Activities and Affiliations:
Mr. Myers has been an active member of the Monterey Bay Community. He co-chairs Action Pajaro Valley and the Pajaro River Task Force. Mr. Myers is a member and past president of the Freedom Rotary Club. He also founded and provides pro bono legal services for the Salinas Valley Junior Golf Association and served as its President.
He is a past chair member of the Board of Trustees of the York School. Mr. Myers has served on the Board of Directors and has participated as a Big Brother in the Big Brother Program. He was a President of the Monterey County Chapter of the American Diabetes Association twice. He has also served as President of the local Lions Club, sits on the board of the Watsonville Law Center, was Grand Knight of the Watsonville Knights of Columbus two times. Mr. Myers served as the Chair of the Watsonville Economic Development Council, and maintains his teaching credential. He has taught transactional law at Monterey Peninsula College.
