Tyler Burke is litigation associate with a focus on commercial, personal injury, and employment matters. He has assisted clients in all stages of litigation, including settlement negotiations, hearings, discovery, pre-trial motions, and trial preparation.
Mr. Burke is a longtime resident of Santa Cruz County and a graduate of Aptos High School.
Mr. Burke earned his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California at Berkeley, focusing on the development of the Western United States. He earned his law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was a Managing Editor for the Indiana Law Journal and a moot court semi-finalist. Prior to joining The Grunsky Law Firm PC, Mr. Burke interned for Justice Richard McAdams of the California Court of Appeal, Sixth District and the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, Homicide Division.
Mr. Burke is admitted to the California State Bar and United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
Community Activities and Affiliations:
Mr. Burke is an active member of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association and a former president of The Advocates, a Santa Cruz County Bar Association group for the area’s younger attorneys. Mr. Burke is a current member of the board of directors of Pajaro Valley Shelter Services.
Mr. Burke grew up in nearby Aptos, CA, where his family still resides. He enjoys attending baseball games, reading science fiction, computer programming, and electronics. He is an avid fan of Cal Football.
