Thomas N. Griffin
Tom Griffin has over 30 years’ experience as a trial attorney. He has been with The Grunsky Law Firm PC for 25 years and served as managing partner and president of the corporation for the past eight years. Mr. Griffin takes pride in his ability to connect with clients. His communication skills and personal interest in his clients allow him to better understand the complex circumstances that have required the assistance of a trial attorney, and then to assist in identifying the best solutions. Mr. Griffin’s well-known trial results help lead to early resolutions and, when necessary, provide enhanced credibility for those litigated disputes that require a trial court to resolve.
Mr. Griffin has represented major healthcare providers in all manner of medical negligence and employment matters. He has tried over fifteen wrongful death cases, and multiple employment cases from wage/hour issues to sexual harassment and retaliation cases. He has represented Santa Cruz County, the City of Watsonville, and businesses including Driscoll Strawberries and Dunlop Tires. He is well versed in California’s Unfair Business Practices Act, having successfully tried “bet the business” cases. He regularly represents a full range of businesses in administrative actions before various regulatory agencies.
Mr. Griffin is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of University of California, Berkeley. He received his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, and was a member of the Thurston Honor Society and the Hastings Law Journal.
Mr. Griffin is admitted to the California Bar.

Mr. Griffin is actively involved in local businesses, and a current member of the board of directors of the Santa Cruz County Bank, Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Santa Cruz County Business Council.
