Dinah V. Sapia
Litigation is the focus of Dinah’s practice. Dinah joined The Grunsky Law Firm PC in 2010, and uses her expertise to litigate cases relating to real estate, elder abuse, insurance bad faith, contracts, personal injury, and employment issues. Dinah also occasionally sits as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the Agricultural Commissioners/Weights & Measures in the Counties of Santa Cruz, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, and for the City of Santa Cruz where she decides cases that allege violations concerning pesticide use, building codes, and weights and measures issues.
Always willing to serve in her community, Dinah currently sits on the Board of Trustees for Monterey College of Law. Over the years she has served as President of Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County; as a board member of California Women Lawyers; as an appointed Commissioner on the Santa Cruz County Women’s Commission, as a board member of YWCA in Watsonville, as a board member of Advocacy, Inc., and on the Soquel High and New Brighton Middle School Site Council. In the past Dinah also enjoyed the time she spent each week volunteering in different classrooms for over ten years.
Professionally, Dinah is a member of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association, the Monterey County Bar Association, Santa Cruz County Trial Lawyers Association, Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz, Monterey County Women Lawyers, The American Bar Association, and Consumer Attorneys of California.
Dinah’s active duty service in the United States Coast Guard taught her how to live by the Coast Guard motto, “Semper Paratus” which means, “Always Ready.”
