Katherine R. Moore is an associate attorney specializing in civil litigation. Her practice includes insurance law, personal injury, automobile/motor vehicle liability and premises liability.

Ms. Moore is the youngest attorney in the firm with trial experience having tried her first jury trial when she was only a second year attorney. The success of that experience has led her to continue trying cases in various counties' Superior Courts.

Ms. Moore has served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Cruz SPCA since 2000 and was recently elected to serve as Treasurer. She is also actively involved in community activities directed at helping young children understand the legal system through her regular participation with the Elementary Law Program. She is an active member of Santa Cruz Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Defense Counsel, Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County, and the Santa Cruz County Bar Association.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Moore completed her undergraduate work at Loyola University of Chicago and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance. She received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1998.

In her spare time, Ms. Moore enjoys gardening, gymnastics, reading and running. She has run various local 10K races including the Wharf to Wharf race from the Santa Cruz Wharf to Capitola Wharf, the Firecracker race, and "United We Run" in Aptos, California.
