FRED EBEY ELECTED SECRETARY OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF TRIAL ADVOCATES

San Francisco, CA - Frederick H. Ebey, an attorney with the Watsonville law practice of Grunsky, Ebey, Farrar & Howell has been elected Secretary of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Mr. Ebey received his JD from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of the California, Berkeley, California. He is currently a member of the California State Bar as well as the bars of Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Mr. Ebey is a partner in the firm of Grunsky, Ebey, Farrar & Howell where he represents plaintiffs and defendants in large property damage claims (construction defect, inverse condemnation, earth movement, floods and fire), insurance bad faith disputes, wrongful death and personal injury litigation.

Mr. Ebey has attained the level of Diplomate in ABOTA. In order to be eligible, a member of ABOTA shall have at least twelve (12) years of active experience as a trial lawyer and as a member of the Bar of the state, province, district or territory in which he or she practices, shall have held the rank of Advocate for a minimum of three (3) years and shall have tried a minimum of one hundred (100) civil jury trials to a conclusion in a court of general jurisdiction or a federal court.

The American Board of Trial Advocates is an invitation only professional organization headquartered in Dallas, TX and comprised of 5,400 civil trial attorneys throughout the United States.

Founded in 1958, ABOTA offers members continuing education, political representation and community and industry outreach.
