Experience
Ms. Rovick is the research attorney for the firm. Prior to joining The Grunsky Law Firm in 2008, Ms. Rovick was a research attorney at the Superior Court of Monterey for seventeen years. During that time, she reviewed civil law and motion, environmental, criminal and probate matters for the superior court judges. She also advised court staff on procedural matters and helped draft local rules. She also worked closely with judges on legal and procedural issues that arose during trial.
In addition to general legal research and writing, Mr. Rovick specializes in preparing a wide variety of civil motions and appeals. Her practice focuses primarily on litigation, and includes insurance defense, administrative and municipal law, real estate law, probate, bankruptcy, and other civil matters.
Education
Ms. Rovick received her J.D. from Cornell University Law School in 1985 where she was the President of the Legal Aid Clinic. She earned her B.A. from Cornell in Government, graduating on the Dean's List. She also attended University of California at Santa Cruz.

Ms. Rovick is admitted to the California Bar, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California.
Community Activities and Affiliations
Ms. Rovick is a clinical studies professor at the Monterey College of Law and supervises mediation in the Small Claims Court in Monterey. She received an award for her service to the courts in mediation from the California State Assembly. In addition, Ms. Rovick serves as judge pro-tem in the Monterey Superior Court. She is a former board member of the Monterey County Women Lawyers Association. She served as an attorney/coach for the Watsonville High School mock court team (2009-2010).
