Experience

Mr. Aulenta joined The Grunsky Law Firm PC. shortly after graduating from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2006 and became a partner with the firm in 2013.

Mr. Aulenta’s practice focuses primarily on litigation, with a focus on Trust and Estate litigation, Landlord-Tenant litigation, and Elder Law litigation. In addition, he handles estate-planning matters and business transactions on behalf of individuals and local businesses.

Mr. Aulenta prides himself on working closely with his clients to find practical and cost-effective solutions to their legal problems. He has developed a reputation as one of the brightest and hardest working young attorneys on the Central Coast. In 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, he was honored as a “Rising Star” in Northern California in the area of Estate and Trust Litigation by “Super Lawyers,” an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of Northern California lawyers.

Education

Mr. Aulenta earned his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California at Davis, graduating with honors. He earned his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 2006. While in law school, he was a member of the Constitutional Law Society and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society

Mr. Aulenta is admitted to the California Bar and the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Community Activities and Affiliations

A longtime resident of the Monterey Peninsula, Mr. Aulenta is actively involved in the community. He has participated as both a scoring judge and a coach in both the Elementary Law Program and the Santa Cruz County High School Mock Trial Competition in an effort to make the legal process more understandable and less intimidating to the local youth. He is an active member of the Monterey County Bar Association and has lectured throughout the Central Coast about Estate and Trust litigation, Public Housing Administration, Landlord-Tenant matters, and Employment law matters.

Mr. Aulenta and his wife Julie reside in Carmel Valley with their young sons Hayden and Austin. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, reading, and- most of all- spending time with his family.
