Matthew is an associate attorney specializing in civil litigation. His practice includes personal injury, subrogation, insurance law, business and transactions, and municipal law.
Matthew is a longtime resident of the Monterey Peninsula and a graduate of Carmel High School. Prior to joining the Grunsky Law Firm, Matthew worked with famed sports agent Leigh Steinberg and assisted in all aspects of the agency, including recruitment of athletes and negotiation of contracts with teams and sponsors.
Education
Mr. Aulenta graduated with honors from University of California at Davis. He earned his law degree at University of California Hastings College of the Law in 2006.

Mr. Aulenta is admitted to the California Bar and the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Community Activities and Affiliations
Mr. Aulenta is actively involved with the Monterey County Boys and Girls Club and the Monterey County Young Professionals Group. In addition, he has participated in both the Elementary Law Program and the Santa Cruz County High Schools Mock Trial Competition in an effort to make the legal process more understandable, and less intimidating, to the community's youth. He is an active member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, National Association of Subrogation Professionals, and the Santa Cruz County Bar Association.
