Experience
Katherine R. Moore began her litigation career with the Grunsky Law Firm in 1999 and became a shareholder in 2004. She has a solid record of defending businesses in premises liability lawsuits and personal injury proceedings. In addition, Ms. Moore has successfully represented clients involved in personal injury lawsuits arising from vehicular accidents.
Education
Ms. Moore received her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1998. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Summa Cum Laude in 1991 from Loyola University of Chicago majoring in Finance.
Admissions
Ms. Moore is admitted to the California Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Professional Organizations and Activities
Ms. Moore was admitted to the California Bar in December, 1998 and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of California in January 1999. Ms. Moore is a member of the Santa Cruz County and Santa Clara County Bar Associations, the Santa Cruz County Trial Lawyers Association, and a member and past board member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.
Ms. Moore has served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Cruz SPCA since 2000 and in various officer positions since 2002. She is currently serving as the SPCA's Board President. Ms. Moore is also actively involved in community activities directed at helping young children understand the legal system through her regular participation with the Santa Cruz County Trial Lawyers Elementary Law Program.
