Daniel E. Griffee's practice
emphasizes civil litigation, particulary defense of
personal injury and premises liability claims.
Mr. Griffee received his J.D. from Monterey
College of Law in 2003 and is a member of the State
Bar of California. He graduated from California State
University Chico, with degrees in both Political Science
and Public Administration.
Prior to his admission to the California
Bar, Mr. Griffee was employed in the insurance industry
in various capacities for fifteen years. For five years,
Mr. Griffee was employed by Dole Fresh Vegetables as
Manager of Casualty, Property and Product Liabilities
where he supervised their self-insurance retention exposure
nationally and negotiated settlements of coverage disputes.
For the past four years, while working
full time for Sequoia Insurance Company resolving commercial
claims, Mr. Griffee attended law school at night. During
his free time, he volunteers his services as a referee
for local high school and junior level lacrosse programs.
In addition to lacrosse, he enjoys golf and reading.
